Kyiv region and Washington state will create an online platform to expand economic cooperation between the regions. This will be a business platform where manufacturers from our region and the US state will be able to publish all information about their products and expand their turnover. This was agreed upon during a working visit to Washington State (USA) by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Ruslan Kravchenko with the team of the Washington State Department of Commerce headed by Director Mike Fong, UNN reports.

KODA, for its part, will fill the platform with all the relevant information on doing business in Ukraine that American investors need.
In Seattle, Kravchenko held a series of meetings with representatives of American business. In particular, with companies that produce military equipment, drones, electronic warfare, laser equipment, world-famous companies Amazon, Starbucks, World Affairs Council, Pacific Northwest Alliance, and Great Seattle Partners.
With the CleanTech Alliance, an organization that cooperates with 25 companies, we discussed the possibility of attracting investment to implement infrastructure rebuilding projects on the principle of "better than before." He also visited Boeing, one of the largest aircraft manufacturers, and Save Boats, a shipbuilding company.
We agreed to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with Washington Maritime Blue, a maritime business development company, in the near future. This will allow us to involve a significant number of Ukrainian startups in the implementation of joint projects.
"Kyiv region is an attractive investment region. We rank 3rd in Ukraine in terms of capital investment and 4th in terms of foreign direct investment. I invited American investors to come to Kyiv region and implement innovative projects. The first such visit will take place in May this year. For its part, the Kyiv region is ready to provide the best conditions for business development and provide maximum assistance in solving a wide range of issues. For the Kyiv region, this is primarily about creating jobs that will help Ukrainians return home," Ruslan Kravchenko said.
He said that Ukrainian and American producers lack complete information about market needs and opportunities to sell their products. And KODA plans to systematize the exchange of this information.
"Recently, the economic platform "Made in Ukraine" was created at the initiative of the President of Ukraine to support Ukrainian producers. We will also help our producers by promoting their products in the United States," the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration emphasized.
They also discussed another area of cooperation - the development of women's entrepreneurship and the implementation of joint projects.
"Despite the enormous losses, Kyiv region remains among the top five business-attractive regions. Business has been helping the country from the very first days. Therefore, we must also help business," added Ruslan Kravchenko.
