Iran has denied allegations of a plot to assassinate Donald Trump. This was reported by CNN, according to UNN.

According to court documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice, in September, Iranian officials asked Farhad Shakeri, an Afghan citizen living in Tehran, to focus on surveillance and eventually kill Trump.
However, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs characterized the allegations as baseless and rejected them. The ministry also added that “similar accusations have been made in the past, which Iran has strongly denied.
The Ministry said that these statements were a conspiracy aimed at “further complicating the problems between the United States and Iran.
