According to the Iranian state agency IRNA, around noon on July 9, US forces carried out new strikes on the coastal province of Bushehr. Among the targets hit, according to Tehran, were an area near the Bushehr nuclear power plant and a fishing pier. At the same time, the US has not officially reported new daytime strikes, and CNN notes that it could not independently confirm these claims.
After this, Iranian media reported that Tehran struck a US military base in Jordan with 10 missiles.
Context
Earlier, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that on the night of July 9, American forces struck 90 Iranian military targets.
In response, Iran reported attacks on US military facilities in several countries in the region. According to Tehran, the targets included a US satellite antenna in Qatar, a Patriot air defense system in Kuwait, and fuel storage facilities of the US military in Bahrain.
