Richard Dean, who heads the iPhone product design, after Tang Tan's departure will report directly to John Turnus Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering.
Kate Bergeron, who was in charge of Mac design, will be responsible for the design of the AppleWatch.
Bloomberg notes that Tang also oversaw two teams that dealt with accessories and participated in the creation of headphones AirPods. These areas will be taken over by Matthew Costello, who previously worked on Beats headphones and the HomePod smart speaker.
