In Ukraine, a trade union of anti-corruption activists has been officially established.

In Ukraine, the process of forming a modern anti-corruption infrastructure is ongoing, uniting various professions, institutions, and practices aimed at preventing corruption, ensuring transparency, accountability, and trust in the decision-making process. This system includes anti-corruption commissioners, compliance officers, auditors, internal control specialists, risk management experts, ethics and integrity professionals, representatives of the civil sector, experts, as well as lobbyists who act openly, legally, and responsibly, reports UA NEWS, writes UNN.

A special place in the anti-corruption infrastructure is occupied by the profession of a lobbyist. Legal lobbying ensures transparency of influence on the decision-making process, promotes open declaration of interests, forms clear rules of communication between business, society, and the state, and helps prevent the hidden promotion of private interests. That is why lobbyists who work within the legal framework and adhere to integrity standards are important participants in the anti-corruption system, along with other professional groups.

In the process of establishing this infrastructure, a number of challenges arise related to a proper understanding of the role of new professions, the formation of professional standards, the development of a culture of transparent interest representation, ensuring reputational resilience, strengthening professional communication, and creating conditions for effective interaction between the state, business, and the public.

On the initiative of representatives of the National Association of Lobbyists of Ukraine, in particular the anti-corruption commissioner Yana Tsymbalenko, the issue of the need for consolidation of professional communities that form the state's anti-corruption infrastructure was raised. Based on the results of consultations and discussions, a decision was made on the need to create a Federation of Trade Union Organizations of Anti-Corruption Infrastructure Entities. The Federation should become a professional platform for uniting communities involved in the process of preventing corruption at the state, local, corporate, public, and expert levels.

Its activities will be aimed at coordinating, supporting, and developing the professions that ensure the functioning of the anti-corruption infrastructure. This concerns the development of unified approaches to professional ethics, raising activity standards, developing a culture of transparent lobbying, disseminating best practices, strengthening professional interaction, and creating conditions for the proper performance of professional functions in the field of corruption prevention.

The Federation is designed to unite anti-corruption commissioners, compliance officers, lobbyists, integrity, audit, internal control, risk management specialists, and other professional groups that work daily to strengthen transparency, legality, and trust in public and corporate decisions.

The creation of such a Federation is an important step towards the further development of Ukraine's anti-corruption infrastructure, strengthening professional interaction, and forming a sustainable culture of integrity, responsibility, and transparent representation of interests.
