Almost 30,000 residential buildings and summer cottages have already been flooded in Russia's Orenburg region, UNN reports citing the Telegram channel 112.
"The situation remains tense. While the disaster is gradually receding in Orsk, where it all started, the most difficult time is still ahead in Orenburg and several dozen other settlements," the statement said.
According to 112, a total of 12,213 houses and 17,203 plots were flooded. More than 13,100 people have been evacuated. Almost 500 people have sought medical attention.
