A week ago, Kyivpride reported that on Sunday, December 8, the capital will host a lecture hall on culture and charity. Today, the organizers announced that the event was canceled, and participants were urged not to approach the location where the lecture hall was supposed to take place.
Subsequently, the organizers said that unknown persons attacked the kyivpride lecture hall.
"They used physical force against law enforcement officers, trying to break through the demarcation border, threw smoke grenades," Kyivpride reported.
In a comment to UNN, the head of the Communications Department of the Kiev police, Dmitry Grishchenko, said that there really was a skirmish. Police officers who were on the spot stopped committing offenses, now the event is over, everyone has dispersed.
