In Poland, one person has been placed under sanitary supervision due to possible contact with a passenger from a cruise ship where an outbreak of hantavirus was recorded. Currently, this individual has shown no symptoms of the disease. This was reported by RMF 24, according to UNN.

According to the publication, the information regarding the sanitary supervision was confirmed by the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate of Poland.

According to available data, the person has no symptoms of hantavirus infection and will be monitored for seven days.
Also, according to the publication, the cruise ship MV Hondius is currently heading to the Canary Islands. There is one Polish captain on board. Currently, the sanitary inspectorate has initiated proceedings to track down individuals who may have come into contact with the ship's passengers after their disembarkation.
