The incident occurred on August 1 at approximately 9:00 PM on the stairwell of a building in the Muchobór district of Wrocław. According to the investigation, the young man attacked the 30-year-old Polish woman and stabbed her several times in the neck and chest.
The woman was hospitalized in critical condition; doctors managed to save her, and she has already been discharged from the hospital today. For this crime, the young man faces life imprisonment.
The Ukrainian has been charged with attempted murder; he has not admitted guilt and has refused to testify, according to the prosecutor's office.
