NASA FIRMS satellite imagery confirmed the ignition of the PP-1 "Kuban" transition point. Power outages are observed in Crimea.

A fire was recorded at an "energy hub" that powers the temporarily occupied Crimea in the Kuban region after a night attack. Confirmation by NASA FIRMS satellite images was noted by the government's Center for Strategic Communication on Monday, as monitoring Telegram channels report power outages in Crimea, writes UNN.

"An 'energy hub' that powers occupied Crimea is burning in the Kuban region. The fire is confirmed by NASA FIRMS satellite images," the Center for Strategic Communication states.

As noted, this refers to the transition point PP-1 "Kuban" – a facility where power lines transition into cables laid along the bottom of the Kerch Strait to the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Meanwhile, the monitoring Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" reports partial power outages in temporarily occupied Crimea. It is reported that this has affected, among others, Dzhankoy, Simferopol, and Krasnogvardeyskoye.

It is noted that black smoke from the village of Maryanovka is spreading over the settlement of Krasnogvardeyskoye, and that in the village of Maryanovka, Krasnogvardeyskoye district, there is a large nodal electrical substation PS 220/35 kV "Maryanovka." It is also noted that, presumably, near the village of Nekrasovka in the Bakhchysarai district, an electrical substation "exploded."

As reported by "Krym.Realii," amid power outages, occupied Crimea in particular is on the verge of massive internet disruptions.

"Internet providers find themselves in a situation where they will soon be unable to perform their functions due to prolonged power outages and the lack of gasoline for free sale," an employee of one of the Crimean internet providers told the publication.

According to his information, providers have been left without the ability to purchase gasoline.

It should be added that simultaneously with the strike on the energy hub in the Kuban region, fighters of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck electrical substations in Vypasne, Oleksandrivka, Maryanovka, and Dzhankoy – during the strike on these objects, FP-2 strike UAVs were likely used, as the video shows a sight with a heart characteristic of Fire Point company products.
