In Lutsk, a 5-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy fell out of a second-floor window when their mother went to the store. The children are currently in the hospital, and police are investigating the incident, the regional police department reported, UNN reported.

The accident happened yesterday, around 9 p.m., in a residential area of Lutsk.
"The children's mother went to the store, leaving them alone in the apartment. According to the woman, she forgot to close the window. Presumably, the children came to the window and leaned on the mosquito net, but it broke, and as a result, the children fell out of the window," the police said.
A 5-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy are reportedly currently in hospital.
This fact is currently under investigation, and the legal qualification of the incident is being provided. The issue of registering the incident in the URPI is being decided.
