Recently, a minor girl called the 112 emergency line and reported that her mother's partner had thrown a knife into the woman's back during a conflict.
Inspectors from the tactical response unit immediately arrived at the scene, where they found a citizen matching the description. The suspected attacker showed signs of drug intoxication, behaved aggressively, and used foul language.
Since the patrol officers received information that the man might be carrying a knife, they readied their service firearms in accordance with Article 46 of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Police" and detained the man using special equipment—handcuffs.
Afterward, they handed the man over to investigators, who will further clarify all the circumstances of the incident. The knife was seized for forensic examination. Medical professionals provided assistance to the injured woman.
