In Kryvyi Rih, a man threatened to rob a bank with an object resembling an F-1 grenade. The attacker was detained and sent to custody by the court. UNN reports this with reference to the main department of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovs'k region.
Covering his face with a mask and a hood, the offender entered the bank branch and handed the cashier a note demanding money, threatening her with an object similar to an F-1 grenade
The man reportedly fled the bank before completing the crime.
It is noted that the police tracked down the attacker, who turned out to be a 34-year-old city resident.
"The attacker was detained jointly with the Special Police Regiment. An authorized search was conducted at his place of residence," the police said.
On December 18, in coordination with the Kryvyi Rih Southern District Prosecutor's Office, he was notified of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 187 (robbery) of the Criminal Code and a custodial measure of restraint was imposed.

The National Police reported that in the wake of the incident in Zakarpattia, where a deputy detonated grenades during a session in a village council, a mechanism will be developed to strengthen security measures in view of wartime in local governments and state institutions.
Later, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that Ukraine plans to install metal detectors and baggage scanners in public places.
