In July, Russian troops used the largest number of guided aerial bombs since the start of the full-scale war, and also significantly increased the intensity of combat operations. According to the General Staff, during July the Russian army dropped over 8,300 guided aerial bombs – this is the highest monthly figure since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
In addition, over the month, 7,922 combat clashes took place on the front line, which averages more than 250 battles per day. Ukrainian military also recorded nearly 97,000 Russian shelling attacks.
The Ministry of Defense noted that despite the intensification of Russian attacks and the high intensity of combat operations, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold the defense and restrain the enemy's offensive actions.
