A 28-year-old British tourist tried to force his way into a karaoke bar in Bangkok but was ejected by local security. After that, he was chased by two bouncers on a motorcycle, and later the man was found dead 200 meters from the bar he tried to visit. This is reported by UNN with reference to The Sun.

Did not look drunk, but behaved strangely

According to eyewitnesses, the vacationer behaved strangely. He ran a long distance, almost a kilometer, before appearing at the door of a karaoke bar that provides sexual services.

CCTV cameras showed that the Briton did not look drunk and "ran in a straight line." After arriving at the establishment, the man tried to force his way in and demanded beer, but local security pushed him out.

After that, two bouncers chased the Briton on a motorcycle. According to CCTV footage, the bouncers, along with police officers, detained the foreigner, and then a physical altercation ensued between them.

In turn, the Thai police stated that they found the Briton in a nearby alley and called an ambulance. Medics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but the Briton was pronounced dead approximately 200 meters from the bar he tried to visit.

Reaction of the Thai police

During the fight, they pushed and fought, as a result of which the foreigner fell. We are not sure if there was any pressure during the fall that caused death, so we are waiting for the results of the forensic examination. After he fell, the security guard who was nearby called the police. At the scene, the two people who fought with the foreigner remained and did not flee

- said Lieutenant Colonel Apichai Khwanjit, deputy chief of the Bang Po district police station.

However, officers said they received a call at 2:45 AM, while medics received a call at 2:00 AM and arrived at the scene at 2:20 AM. According to the Thai police, the British Embassy was informed about the death of their national.

We are providing support to the family of a British man who died in Bangkok and are in contact with local authorities

- a Foreign Office spokesperson told The Sun.
