At the end of October, he was approached by a friend who, together with a friend, wanted to leave Ukraine illegally. The law enforcement officer offered his services as a "taxi driver" and for 10 thousand US dollars promised not only to give him a ride to the border with Hungary, but also to show him where to go and how to cross the border unnoticed.
