The publication notes that Gergely Gulyás said that the government meeting discussed not only internal issues of Hungary, but also foreign policy. In particular, the official noted that Hungary remains committed to the cause of peace and supports American efforts to end the war as soon as possible.
The minister also said that the Hungarian government continues not to support Ukraine's membership in the EU.
Ballots for voting in the referendum on this issue will begin to be sent out next week
The official himself, when asked: "Do you support Ukraine's accession to the European Union?" reiterated the government's previously expressed position that Ukraine's accession would be dangerous, including from an agricultural and economic point of view.
"It is important that Hungary's voice is heard on this issue as well," he added.
