Head of the Military Medical Commission exposed for selling men certificates with fictitious diseases

The head of the Ovidiopol freelance military medical commission was caught selling fake certificates with fictitious diseases, which helped people illegally cross the border of Ukraine for money.

Law enforcement officers served a notice of suspicion to the head of the Ovidiopol freelance military medical commission for selling men medical certificates with fictitious diseases. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, UNN reports .

Under the procedural supervision of the Dnipro District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv, the Head of the Ovidiopol freelance military-medical commission was served a notice of suspicion of assisting in illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine, by prior conspiracy of a group of persons, for mercenary motives (Part 3 Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),

Details

According to the investigation, the suspect and his accomplices made certificates of the military medical commission with fictitious diseases for money.

Thus, in December 2023, the suspect, together with a doctor "at the request of the client", illegally issued a certificate of the military medical commission and a temporary certificate of a person liable for military service for USD 5,500, which allowed him to cross the state border of Ukraine without hindrance.

Then, in the said criminal proceedings, a doctor of one of the hospitals in Odesa region was served a notice of suspicion of assisting in the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Currently, the head of the Ovidiopol freelance military medical commission has been notified of suspicion.
