The Ukrainian military has withdrawn from the Kanal neighborhood in Chasovyi Yar to more secure and prepared positions. This was stated by the spokesman for the Khortytsia military unit, Lieutenant Colonel Nazar Voloshyn, during a telethon, according to a UNN correspondent .
The situation is such that at the moment it was not advisable to hold the enemy's position in the Kanal neighborhood, as it threatened the lives and health of the soldiers. The positions of our defenders were destroyed, so the command decided to retreat to more secure and prepared positions
However, according to him, the enemy does not stop its active hostilities there either.
"He has some specific deadlines that he has not been able to meet for several months in a row, to take Chasiv Yar. He is trying to hang his tricolor rags," Voloshyn said.

Earlier, analysts of the Ukrainian project DeepState reported that the Canal neighborhood in Chasiv Yar had been completely erased. Keeping it in ruins and having problems with logistics will only increase losses, so leaving the neighborhood is a logical, albeit difficult, decision.
