Children found a grenade on a playground in Gostomel, Kyiv region. They decided to pick it up, but their parents noticed it in time and called the sappers. UNN reports this with reference to the State Emergency Service.
According to the State Emergency Service, today sappers from the Mobile Rescue Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine seized an F-1 hand grenade near one of the playgrounds in Gostomel.
The children were incredibly lucky that their attentive parents noticed in time that the children had decided to pick it up. After that, the adults took the children to a safe distance and called the sappers, thus preventing a possible tragedy
The SES also reminded that if you find a suspicious object, you should not approach or touch it and call 101.
