Military personnel can be transferred between units under a simplified procedure without coordination with unit commanders. Electronic letters guarantee a quick review.

The General Staff is implementing systemic changes to simplify the movement of military personnel between military units. In particular, a new mechanism for submitting recommendation letters in electronic format has been launched. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Details

"Yes, recently a simplified mechanism has been introduced for sending a recommendation letter for a serviceman from the military unit to which he wishes to transfer, to the military unit where he is serving, using electronic document management. The introduced mechanism guarantees that the recommendation letter will be considered by the commander of the military unit as soon as possible," the post says.

Thanks to the implemented changes, the serviceman no longer needs to apply with a recommendation letter to the commanders of the squad, platoon, company, and battalion.

This is expected to reduce the influence of subjective factors when making decisions. Also, the new mechanism reduces the number of approvals with the heads of structural units.

Recall

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft presidential decree that streamlines military service. In particular, it is planned to introduce new contract rules, rotation, and abolish conscription.
