Since the beginning of the day, 92 combat engagements have taken place. In the Pokrovsk sector, the military are holding back the enemy's attack and repelled 19 attacks, 12 battles are still ongoing, UNN reports, citing the General Staff's report as of 16:00.
The situation on the combat line remains tense but under control. Ukrainian defenders continue to actively counter the Russian aggressor, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment. A total of 92 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day, the report says.
According to the General Staff, the border settlements of Sumy and Chernihiv regions continue to suffer from cynical shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation. The shelling from cannon artillery and multiple rocket launchers affected areas of the settlements, including Dmytrivka, Bachivsk, Velyka Pysarivka, Sydorivka, Turya, Osoyivka and Senkivka.
At the same time, the Kharkiv region is under bombardment by enemy aircraft. Today, from the Russian cities of Belgorod and Shebekino, terrorists carried out nine air strikes, dropping 15 UAVs. They targeted the areas of Ukrainian settlements Liptsy, Vovchansk, Hlyboke and Mali Prokhody, the General Staff adds.
In addition, in the Kharkiv sector, Russian occupants unsuccessfully attacked the defensive lines of Ukrainian units near Vovchansk and Hlyboke three times.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy also tried to storm the positions of our troops near Berestove three times. All enemy attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders.
In the Liman sector, the invading army carried out 10 attacks near Makiivka, Hrekivka and Nevske during the day. Seven engagements ended without success for the enemy, three more are ongoing. The situation is under control.
The enemy intensified in the Northern sector in the areas of Bilohorivka, Spirne, Verkhnekamianske, Vyymka and Rozdolivka. Ukrainian defense forces are steadily holding back the enemy. So far, nine occupants' attacks have been repelled, and two more are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders made four assaults on the positions of our troops near Hryhorivka, Ivanivske and Chasovyi Yar. Two battles are over, two more are ongoing.
In the Toretsk sector, 15 enemy attacks took place in the area of Pivnichne, Toretsk and New York. Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks, and another combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have made the largest number of attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Yevhenivka, Novoselivka Persha, Karlivka, Prohres and Yurivka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have repelled 19 enemy attacks, 12 battles are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
Two battles continue in the Kurakhove sector, near Nevelske and Krasnohorivka. Ukrainian troops repelled four more enemy attacks in the area of Dalne, Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka.
In the Vremivsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled three Russian attacks near Urozhayne and Makarivka. At the moment, the battle in the area of Vodiane is ongoing.
In the Huliaipol sector, the occupants failed near the village of Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian invaders attacked the positions of our troops twice. One attack was unsuccessful near Robotyne, and another is ongoing near Mala Tokmachka.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the vicinity of Krynky. No positions were lost.
