In order to gain trust, the fraudsters provide numerous photos using the official badge, identity and colors of the MIA service centers, taken with the help of computer programs.
Most often, criminals use photos taken in 2016 at the opening of the MIA service center in Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region. The girl in the photo is a former employee of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has no relation to the fake administrator and has never held such a position in the past. She is currently abroad for a long time. Her real name and surname are not Sofia Boyko. Currently, the regional service center of the MIA's GSC in Kyiv has formed and filed a statement of crime with the police,
Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasize:
- You can get a driver's license for the first time only in person against your signature after passing the theoretical and practical exams at a service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Such a license is not sent by mail, let alone abroad.
- Administrators of the MIA service centers do not communicate in Telegram, Viber, and Whatsapp.
- Payment for the services is made exclusively to requisites of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
- The estimated cost of a driver's license form is UAH 515.
- Fake driver's licenses are not displayed in the official registers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Diia app.
- You can restore or exchange your driver's license by contacting the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or online in Driver's Cabinet or in Diia.
