In the morning of August 21, the town of Druzhba in Sumy region was shelled by the invaders for 5 hours. The head of the Druzhba community, Yevhen Kharytonov, noted the following about the consequences of the actions of the Russian armed forces:
First, there were drones, 13 or 14 of them, then artillery fire, then two rockets.
A woman was wounded in the shelling.
Three private houses and a business were damaged. Two rockets hit the building of the former city council.
