In the temporarily occupied Crimea, five people died as a result of bad weather, 12 others were injured, the so-called "head" of the peninsula appointed by the Russian Federation Sergey Aksyonov reported, according to UNN.

According to him, the storm damaged 320 settlements in 18 municipalities. Coastal defenses, beaches and embankments in the cities of Yalta, Alushta, Yevpatoria, Feodosia, Kerch and Sudak were most affected.
159 private households, 2 apartment buildings, 193 household plots, and 60 summer cottages in three municipalities were flooded.
The power supply was disrupted in 273 settlements, leaving more than 500,000 people without electricity. As of today, about 1600 subscribers remain without electricity, Aksyonov said.
