On Wednesday, an explosion occurred at the American General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems plant in Camden, which injured at least two people. It is also known that another person is missing.
One of the wounded was reportedly treated in the emergency room of the Ouachita County Medical Center and is in stable condition. The other wounded man was transported by helicopter outside of Arkansas.
In a statement, the company's representative first called the explosion a "pyrotechnic incident," but later confirmed that it was an explosion.
The state's Emergency Management Department said it was monitoring the situation and was ready to provide assistance, but did not provide details.
