The Council of Europe Development Bank, on November 17, approved a a loan of EUR 100 million to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to restore healthcare infrastructure and meet urgent needs.

In the period from November 16 to 17 November 16-17, Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Olga Zykova took part in the meeting of the Administrative Board of the Council of Europe's Development Bank (EBRD) as the newly appointed representative of Ukraine. According to the document, preferential financing will be used to implement urgent measures to restore the stable operation of the healthcare system. Also, the program will help restore and modernize the network of medical facilities in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine that were destroyed or damaged as a result of hostilities. In addition, the Project will expand the range of medical services and access to them.
