The EU will approve a new package of sanctions against Russia today, focusing on the Russian shadow fleet, DPRK officials and Chinese companies, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said as she arrived at the first meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in her new post, UNN reports.

"During the discussions on Ukraine, the foreign ministers will adopt the 15th package of sanctions today, it includes sanctions on the shadow fleet, it also includes sanctions on North Korean officials as well as Chinese companies that are contributing to this war," Callas said.
EU foreign ministers will discuss Russia's aggression against Ukraine today after an informal exchange of views with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga via videoconference, the EU Council said.
