President of the European Council of the European Council after the first day of the Council meeting said that the heads of state and governments of 26 countries supported the revision of the multi-annual financial program, which which, among other things, provides for the allocation of 50 billion euros to Ukraine.
The revision of the Multiannual Financial Framework as presented, with all components and priorities - including support for Ukraine, as well as migration and the external dimension, strategic technologies for the European Platform, interest payments under the EU's Next Generation program, special instruments, new own resources and elements that reduce the impact on national budgets - was strongly supported by the 26 heads of state and government
According to Mr. Michel Michel, they plan to return to the issue of allocating funds in early of next year.

The European Council plans to allocate 50 billion euros to Ukraine for the period 2024-2027 to ensure stable and sustainable financial support.
It is noted that of the 50 billion euros, 33 billion will be provided in the form of loans, and the remaining 17 billion euros - in the form of in the form of non-repayable support.
