A European court has ruled against a ban on Russian planes flying over its entire territory. As reported by Radio Liberty Europe editor Rikard Jozwiak on social network X, the sanction does not prohibit a privately licensed Russian pilot from flying a plane in the European Union zone, writes UNN.
Another interesting ruling issued today by the EU Court of Justice regarding the EU ban on flights to Russia. The sanction does NOT prohibit a private Russian pilot with a license, from flying an aircraft in the European Union area. The ban still applies to all rf-registered aircraft - they cannot land, take off, or fly over the EUC

On February 27, 2022, the European Union imposed a flight ban on Russian aircraft over its entire territory. The next day they went into effect.
