Russian troops fired 13 times at night and in the morning at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region, the Sumy regional military administration reported on Saturday, UNN reported.

"At night and in the morning, Russians fired 13 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 33 explosions were recorded. The Velykopysarivska, Bilopilska, Esmanska, Yunakivska and Sveska communities were shelled," the RMA reported on Telegram.
Situation at the border as of 8:00 a.m. March 16:
▪️ Velykopysarivska community: shelling with MLRS (14 explosions), mortar (5 explosions), launching of the CAB from a tactical aircraft (4 explosions).
▪️ Bilopilska community: the enemy fired from mortars (3 explosions).
▪️ Esman community: small arms fire and mortar shelling (2 explosions) were recorded.
▪️ Yunakivska community: Russians dropped 2 mines on the community's territory.
▪️ Sveska community: there was a mortar attack (2 explosions).
