An attack by an enemy drone at night disconnected equipment at one of the substations in Odesa Oblast, but all consumers were connected and there is no shortage of electricity in the grid.

Schedules of emergency power outages in six regions of Ukraine have been canceled, with hourly restrictions applied only in Kharkiv region. Due to an enemy drone attack, equipment at one of the substations in Odesa region was shut down at night, but all the equipment has been restored. No shortage of electricity is expected. This was reported on Saturday by the Ministry of Energy, UNN writes.

Generation, consumption and transmission

"Yesterday, by the end of the day, the schedules of emergency shutdowns were canceled in all regions where restrictions were applied during the evening peak load," the agency said.

It is reported that emergency blackouts have been canceled, in particular, in Dnipropetrovs'k, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, and Sumy regions.

The reason for this was network restrictions and insufficient local generation due to damage to power plants.

As of this morning, no emergency outage schedules are in place. Hourly outages are in effect only in the Kharkiv region for 120 thousand subscribers. The reason is significant damage to the equipment of NPC Ukrenergo and, as a result, the inability to transmit the required amount of electricity

- the Ministry of Energy reported.

According to the report, hourly network restrictions for 120,000 subscribers are in effect in Kharkiv.

It is also reported that yesterday, at Poland's request, electricity was supplied to Ukraine's power grid from 12:00 to 15:00. A thermal power plant unit was put out for short-term repairs. "There is currently no shortage of electricity in the power system. The power system is operating in a balanced manner," the ministry said.

Consequences of shelling

"As a result of the UAV attack, equipment at one of the substations in Odesa region was accidentally disconnected at night, resulting in a short-term power outage for about 70,000 consumers. All of them have been reconnected," the Energy Ministry said in a statement.

Networks status

In Dnipropetrovs'k region, as indicated, high-voltage lines were disconnected, leaving household consumers, industry, and the railroad without power, with train traffic disrupted. Within half an hour, all consumers were supplied with power.

In the evening, the overhead line in Sumy region was cut off, and household consumers and industry were cut off. All consumers were supplied with power.

In Kirovohrad region, a high-voltage overhead line was disconnected, and the railroad (no train traffic disruptions) and household consumers were cut off. Everyone was supplied with power.

All consumers who were cut off from power due to bad weather have electricity, the ministry added.

Situation at ZNPP

"The water level in the cooling pond is 15.52 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said in .
