Polish President Andrzej Duda is likely to travel to the United States to meet with Donald Trump, who is expected to become the next US president after winning the election. This was reported by Polish media, UNN reports.

"Gazeta Wyborcza cited sources as saying that Duda could leave for the United States as early as Friday. He did not consult with the government or the foreign minister beforehand.
Polsat News contacted Duda's office and received a comment from Presidential Minister Mieszek Pawlak. According to him, there was no departure planned for Friday, but he did not deny the information that such a visit could take place later.
According to Gazeta Wyborcza's sources, Duda plans to attend a party that Trump is organizing at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is among the invited guests.
At the same time, Duda is due to be in Poland on November 11, which will celebrate its Independence Day. Duda also plans to visit Baku to participate in the UN climate summit COP29, which will take place on November 11-22.
