The winners of the "Do Your Business" social initiative competition have scaled up their craft biscuit business. This was reported by the MHP-Hromada Charitable Foundation, UNN reports.
Details
The project is called the Korzhyk Inclusive Craft Cookie Workshop. Its initiators applied to scale up their existing business in Fastiv, Kyiv Oblast, a year ago.
"Then the experts learned about Mykyta, a pastry chef with Down syndrome, who creates craft cookies in the Korzhyk mini-bakery. About his dream, which was realized by the founders of the workshop. And about the mission of this project: to create a space for the socialization of people with disabilities through employment and communication with the townspeople," MHP-Hromada says.
The competition experts unanimously supported the project. And recently they visited Fastiv to see with their own eyes how social business is developing.
"What can we tell you? Sunny boy Mykyta is doing really well in this bakery. May it continue to be so!" - share their impressions in the charity fund.
It should be noted that MHP-Hromada has recently announced the launch of a new season of the "Do Your Business" business idea competition. This year, the foundation is especially looking forward to receiving applications from veterans and families of defenders who want to start or develop their own business.
