Dnipro Region to Receive Over UAH 3.2 Billion as Part of the "Made in Ukraine" Platform

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Dnipropetrovs'k region will receive over UAH 3.2 billion as part of the Made in Ukraine economic platform to support business and domestic production in times of war.

During his working visit to Dnipro, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the presentation of the economic platform "Made in Ukraine".

Zelensky thanked the entrepreneurs for staying in their region, supporting the economy and providing jobs despite the full-scale Russian aggression.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of strengthening air defense and protecting energy infrastructure.

According to the President, the government understands that business is in a difficult position during the war. Therefore, the Made in Ukraine platform was launched to support it, resolve issues and develop domestic production.

Yulia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, noted that more than UAH 3.2 billion has been allocated for Dnipro region this year under all support programs.

The more actively businesses in the region apply for the relevant programs, the more funds they will be able to receive. They are allocated to the government support already familiar to businesses, such as 5-7-9, recycling grants, compensation, and new programs.

In addition, during a meeting in Dnipro hosted by President Zelenskyy, Health Minister Viktor Liashko reported on a project to create a second echelon of hospitals to receive wounded defenders.

Lyashko noted that Kryvyi Rih Hospital No. 2 is to be reconstructed to accommodate soldiers from the south.

This hospital should increase its capacity to receive wounded soldiers and relieve the pressure on first-line hospitals

The Minister of Health proposed to allocate grant funds for the overhaul of the hospital. According to him, the hospital's reconstruction project has already been developed and will begin with the operating room.

Viktor Lyashko also proposed to involve combat medics in the work of hospitals of the second echelon.
