The match ended with a 1-0 victory for Argentina over Colombia.
Off the field, however, a different physical confrontation was taking place:
In fact, 27 people were arrested before and after the final whistle. Most of them stormed the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, the site of the last act of the event, despite not having a ticket.

The head of the Colombian soccer association, Ramen Jesurun, and his son were arrested because of a conflict with security officials. They were not allowed to use the elevators to go down to the playing field.
It is stated that the 43-year-old son allegedly knocked the security guard to the ground and punched him.
