Noting that the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine still has risks of escalation and spread, Li Hui said that the priority for all parties is to work together "to mitigate the situation.
Li recalled that earlier China and Brazil had announced their six-point "peace plan," which, according to the Chinese government representative, received a positive reaction from the international community.
Li said that China is ready to work with Indonesia to jointly create conditions "for the early resumption of direct dialogue and negotiations between the relevant parties"
In his turn, Hadi said that Indonesia highly appreciates China's leading role "in facilitating a political settlement of the crisis in Ukraine" and highly appreciates the positive role of the agreements reached by China and Brazil.
"Indonesia is ready to work with China and relevant parties to uphold the principles of collectivity and inclusiveness and jointly find a solution to the crisis," he said.
