A metal ceiling structure collapsed in a shopping mall in Vinnytsia, injuring a visitor. Police have launched an investigation, the National Police in the region reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

"Police are investigating the collapse of the ceiling in a recreation facility in Vinnytsia. As a result of the fall of a metal ceiling structure in a shopping center on Keletska Street, a visitor received bodily injuries and was provided with medical assistance without hospitalization," the statement said.
Information about other victims, as indicated, has not been received.
Police officers have launched criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 270 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of established legislative requirements for fire or man-made safety). The investigation is ongoing and all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
