The Royal Mint in the UK has unveiled new British coins for 2024. One of the coins is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, UNN reports with reference to Sky News.

Five new designs are unveiled to mark key events and anniversaries, which also include commemorations of the National Gallery, the Great Britain national team and the Great Britain Paralympic team heading to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
Buckingham Palace is featured on the new £5 coin, and the 150th anniversary of Sir Winston Churchill's birth and the 200th anniversary of the National Gallery are depicted on the £2 coins.
The new 50p coins will commemorate the 200th anniversary of the RNLI and the country's national teams.
"As we approach the New Year, we are delighted to unveil five new designs that will appear on commemorative coins in 2024, marking some of the most significant moments and anniversaries to come," said Rebecca Morgan, Director of Commemorative Coins at the Royal Mint.
