"The State Logistics Operator has signed contracts with 8 producers for 458 million hryvnias for the supply of bread and bakery products for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the DOT.
It is noted that bread and bakery products will be purchased for the military separately from the food catalog.
We know that there are complaints from military personnel about the quality of bread and bakery products. We are trying to solve this problem. As one of the steps, we have purchased this category separately from the catalog. This means that now bread, like water, will not be supplied to the Armed Forces as part of the kits. This will allow us, firstly, to clearly understand that the goods will be supplied by those companies that meet the qualification criteria and their products meet the quality requirements. Secondly, that the product is fresh, because we will see when the application was received and when the supplier shipped it
The DOT emphasized that the contracted companies are Ukrainian producers that have been on the market for a long time and, in particular, supply to large retail chains.
The auctions were attended by 21 suppliers. As a result, contracts worth UAH 458 million were concluded with 8 producers:
- Zolotoy Korovay LLC (Trademark (TM) Khlib Zhytomyr),
- Zaporizhzhya Bakery No. 3 ALC (TM Khlibodar),
- Batkivsky Hlib LLC (TM "Svit Hliba"),
- Chernivtsi Hlibokombinat LLC (TM "First Bread"),
- Cherkasykhlib LLC (TM "Formula Smaku"),
- Concern Khlibprom PJSC (TM Vinnytsiakhlib, Bandinelli, TM 2go, GRILL&BAKERY, Ljubljana, Juni, Agrola),
- PrJSC "Teremno Khlib" (TM "Teremno Khlib"),
- "Zaporizhzhya Bakery No. 5" ALC (TM "Khlibodar").
Deliveries from the contracted companies will begin in late April. It will be carried out under the manufacturer-military unit model.
