In the Sumy district, the body of a civilian man who died as a result of a Russian drone strike was discovered. This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on his Telegram channel, UNN reports.

According to Hryhorov, the 38-year-old man died due to a targeted attack by a Russian drone on the road between the Khotin and Sumy communities. The deceased was a resident of the Khotin community, but had previously evacuated to Sumy with his family due to constant Russian shelling of the border areas.
The Regional Military Administration emphasized the danger of traveling through the border areas

The head of the region noted that law enforcement and relevant services are currently investigating all the circumstances of the tragedy. The Regional Military Administration also emphasized that Russian troops continue to purposefully attack civilians and effectively leave no safe opportunity for movement through the border territories.
