Border guards patrolling the mountainous area near the border with Romania found the body of a man, the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on Thursday, UNN reports.

He was identified as a citizen of Ukraine born in 1979 from the city of Sumy. The body of the man was handed over to doctors for examination.
The State Border Guard Service once again reminded that crossing the border outside checkpoints is dangerous and illegal.

On July 24, SBGS spokesman Andriy Demchenko reported that the majority of attempts to illegally cross the border were recorded at the sections with Moldova and Romania. The number of such attempts remains stable, without a sharp increase or decrease.
