The body of a woman was found on Lake Svityaz. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Volyn region, UNN reports.

Last night, the Rescue Service received a report that a human body had been found on the surface of the water near the shore of Lake Svityaz. Rescuers of the diving and rescue department of the village of Shatsk immediately went to the scene.
Before the rescuers arrived, eyewitnesses pulled the woman's body out of the water and onto the shore. The SES specialists, together with emergency medical workers, began cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but they failed to save the woman born in 1942.
