On Friday, May 8, the body of an 11-year-old boy with a stab wound was found on one of the streets of the city of Sheptytskyi, Lviv region. This is reported by UNN with reference to a statement from the Lviv region police.

It is noted that the report of a child's body without signs of life, discovered on Naberezhna Street in the city of Sheptytskyi, was received around 7:00 PM. A mobile investigation team, patrol police response crews, juvenile prevention officers, and other services of the Sheptytskyi District Police Department immediately arrived at the specified address.
Law enforcement officers found a puncture-and-cut wound on the boy's body, which likely caused his death. The identity of the deceased has been established—he was an 11-year-old resident of the district center,
It is indicated that criminal proceedings have been initiated under Clause 2, Part 2, Article 115 (Premeditated Murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The progress of the investigation is under the personal control of the head of the Lviv region police.
