The recently released 1.96 update of the Bluesky app (a social microblogging platform) has a special tab for mentions in your notifications. It is expected to make it easier to see replies or conversations in which users have been tagged on the platform.
Reported by UNN with reference to The Verge.
Bluesky now has a separate tab for mentions: it should be much easier to view replies or conversations in which users have been tagged on the platform.
“The 1.96 update allows you to easily access settings that allow you to control how replies to posts are displayed to you. Replies can be linear, which means they appear one post after another, or in chains, which means they will appear in indented chains (similar to how they appear on Reddit),” the publication writes.
It is also possible to sort answers by newest, oldest, most popular, hot, and random.
If you decide to set your own domain as your username from 1.96, Bluesky will also reserve your old .bsky.social name so that it cannot be picked up by someone else, writes The Verge.
