US President Joe Biden during a joint press conference with Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed confidence that Ukraine will become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance, but it is necessary to to ensure Ukraine's victory in the war with Russia.

I am very proud of how strong and united NATO has become. Putin wanted to Finnishize NATO when I met with him in Geneva right after he was elected, but he got the Finnish pushback. NATO will be in Ukraine's future - no question about it. As we said in Vilnius: Ukraine will be a NATO member when all allies agree and the conditions are met. Now we need to make sure they win the war
The US President also recalled the statement of the NATO summit in according to which Ukraine will join NATO when all members of the alliance members agree to it and the conditions are met.
Now we have to do everything to win the war
