The Army+ app now has a function to submit a digital report for returning to service after unauthorized absence from the unit. The process takes 5 minutes and provides a clear mechanism for resuming service within 96 hours.

The Army+ app now allows you to create a digital report and report your desire to return to service  after an AWOL. This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, UNN reports.

"A new service has been launched in the Army+ app, which allows you to create a digital report and report your desire to return to service," Umerov wrote.

According to him, the process is as simple as possible and takes only 5 minutes.

"After submitting the report, a clear mechanism is launched that regulates all stages of the refund - from paperwork to the resumption of payments. Each stage is accompanied by a notification in the app explaining further actions," Umerov said.

He explained that the main department of the Military Law Enforcement Service (VSP) receives and confirms the data in the report. The serviceman has 24 hours to arrive at the department of the VSP of his choice. There, they will draw up documents, issue an order and help him safely get to one of the 17 military units on the approved list.

"The commander of one of these military units has 72 hours to restore financial support and social guarantees. After returning, the soldier will be able to transfer to another unit if necessary - you can also apply for a change of service through Army+," the minister said.
