Apple Martin wowed the crowd as she posed for photos in a custom-made blue Valentino Haute Couture gown. A number of media outlets noted the brilliant debut of the daughter of singer, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow on November 30 at the Le Bal des Débutantes debutante ball in Paris.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Chris Martin admitted that he never thought he would one day attend a debutante ball.
(It) is not something I ever thought I would do, but because I am so in love with her, I say: “Okay.”
The interview was conducted a week before Apple's appearance at an exclusive event, where she was supported by Chris, her mother Gwyneth, 52, her younger brother Moses, 18, and Gwyneth's mother Blythe Danner, 81.
Apple Martin was among the 20 young women who were honored at the glittering event held at the Shangri-La Hotel.
She arrived arm-in-arm with her beau, Count Leo Henkel von Donnersmark, before walking out with her famous parents, who divorced in 2016.
At one point during the gala, Apple and Chris enjoyed a father-daughter dance, which was filmed and posted on the TikTok account @gala.fr.
Chris, dressed in a black tuxedo, looked very proud as he and Apple slowly danced and then hugged.
Interestingly, it was not without gossip and scandalous remarks
However, the sweet moments were overshadowed by the accusation that Apple behaved like a “bad girl” at the event.
She was accused of “snatching the camera” from another debutante and “rolling her eyes” at her daring gentleman.
The daughter of the famous couple, who have since divorced, had to endure a wave of not always kind comments online. They mistakenly highlighted inappropriate behavior. Internet users, on the other hand, came to her defense.
