An 18-year-old boy from a family-type home in Kherson region, who was illegally transferred to Russia and adopted, committed suicide. The Prosecutor General's Office has launched an investigation. UNN reports this with reference to the OGP.
"Proceedings have been initiated in connection with information about the death of a Ukrainian teenager taken by the occupiers from Kherson region.
On December 24, the media published information about the suicide of a Ukrainian teenager, a resident of a family-type home in Tokarivka village, Kherson region, who was illegally transferred to the territory of the Russian Federation.
"In this regard, criminal proceedings have been initiated on the fact of committing a war crime that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the statement said.
