On the night of July 5, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with an X-31 anti-radiation missile from the Black Sea, as well as three X-59/69 guided air missiles from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, 125 Shahed-type attack UAVs (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody"-type decoy drones. This was reported by UNN citing the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Details
The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Oryol, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from occupied Donetsk and Crimea.
The enemy attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 8:00 a.m., 112 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other types of drones were shot down/suppressed in the north, south, and east of the country, as well as 3 X-59/69 guided air missiles. The X-31 anti-radiation missile did not reach its target
At the same time, hits by 4 attack UAVs at 3 locations were recorded. Debris falls were also recorded at 8 locations.
